Updating Civil 3D to access the Targeting form and ANZ Country Kit

Follow the following steps access the Civil 3D Targeting form and the ANZ Country Kit Settings and Styles.  Note that if your typical installation/upgrade process is unsuccessful, this guide will assist you to completely remove the software so as to not conflict with the installation and upgrades.  If you software is compatible then no uninstallation will be required.
1. Uninstall AutoCAD and Civil 3D using the Windows button > Autodesk Uninstall tool.
2. If there are residual files conflicting with your installation, you can remove files from your Registry as shown in the following Autodesk article.  Note that you are advised to Backup your Registry prior to any edits at the end of the article:

3. If there are still residual files conflicting with your installation, you can also use a Windows tool to remove them found here:

4. Once the files are removed, you can begin with the installation.  Note that the order of installation is important and it is recommended to restart your machine and run each programme after each installation.  Begin with installing AutoCAD by clicking DOWNLOAD FREE TRIAL button from the AU version of the Autodesk website (not from the Autodesk app):

5. Install Civil 3D.  Again, this should be by clicking the DOWNLOAD FREE TRIAL button from the AU version of the Autodesk website:

6. Install the Civil 3D update v2022.1.  Note that this is not available in the Updates list in the Autodesk app but it is a pre-requisite for the v2022.1.1 update that avails you to the Civil 3D Targeting form.  In the following link, click Individual Products > Autodesk Account link.  You will have to log in to access the Products and Services page and then scroll down to the Civil 3D v2022.1 update.

7. As with step 6. scroll down the Products and Services page to download the Civil 3D update v2022.1.1.
8. Download and install the ANZ Country Kit found here under the 2022 Country Kit heading.  Their is supporting documentation available and the (msi) file is application to install:

These tools can also be used to install other software after a clean uninstall.
