BricsCAD freezes on secondary Monitor

Q. Second monitor is not displaying Civil Site Design forms or rendering Model Viewer correctly

A. Uninstall or disable the NAHIMIC drivers and Civil Site Design will now operate on Bricscad as expected and the Model Viewer display will function without errors. If you remove the drivers, please ensure that you reboot your system prior to using Civil Site Design We have found an issue with NAHIMIC drivers when using Civil Site Design.

The NAHIMIC drivers can cause errors in the rendering engine of Civil Site Design when rendering graphics on secondary monitors and this software in installed by default on new MSI gaming laptops as it enhances the audio experience for gamers.
Early investigations show that there is something called NahimicOSD.dll that is the source of the hang. A quick search on it shows that others are experiencing similar situations in other applications, all caused by this DLL…which is part of the Audio Driver for on-board sound devices on your motherboard.
